Fundraising Gala for Education

We are excited to announce our Fundraising Gala for Education, November 2, 2024.

Held at the Yacht Club and catered by Zanini's and Jackie Huerta, this event can only seat 96 people and will sell out. We are raising $$ for a project for the school district. Did you know that Oak Harbor School District has over 350 kids who are homeless? Many of these kiddos couch surf from house to house, or live in hotels. Others live in RVs, or in cars, and all have needs beyond what the school district can provide. We want to come alongside the school district to provide them with the resources necessary to meet these needs.

Last year we succussfully raised over $18,ooo for the purchase and installation of inclusive communication playground boards to help ASL/Bilingual/Special Needs kiddos at each of the grade schools and at Hand in Hand Early Learning Center. We also raised pover $7000 in funds for the OHEF Al Koetje Mayor's Scholarship and the OHEF Dave Johnson Scholarship.
