$1000 for a CTE student who is involved in NJROTC at OHHS
The Captain Robert Miles Take the Bull by the Horns Scholarship will be created to recognize an outstanding senior Oak Harbor High School NJROTC student who will be entering a two/four-year college or vocational/technical college. This award honors Captain Robert W. Miles, USN Retired, who served as a Naval Aviator from 1954 – 1977 and Oak Harbor High School NJROTC Naval Science Instructor from 1977 – 1996.
● 2.5 GPA minimum requirement
● Career and Tech Student
● Involvement in Leadership in Oak Harbor High School NJROTC
● Acceptance at a 2 or 4 year college or trade school
